The pole-mounted switch is used for line segment switching and fault isolation. It monitors, protects and communicates the operating status of the system and equipment through the supporting distribution feeder terminals. Pole-mounted switches are mainly used in suburban and rural overhead distribution lines, with a rated voltage level of 12kV AC.
