Composite jacket arresters use composite jackets as external insulation. The composite jackets are made of polymers and composite materials. They have a closed gas space inside, or composite materials are used to achieve sealing. Single or multi-column resistor columns are used as the core. Composite jacket arresters have the characteristics of good electrical insulation performance, high dielectric strength, good hydrophobicity, heat resistance, cold resistance, and aging resistance. Mainly used in power plants, substations, transmission lines, distribution networks, electrified railways, transformer center point protection and DC transmission and distribution systems, etc. The voltage level covers AC 10kV-1000kV and DC ±0.75kV-±1100kV.
